Though in the history of the worldwide civilization, the accumulation of knowledge has increased arithmetically, geometrically, and even exponentially; the accumulation of knowledge progression has now begun to flatten out as it approaches the asymptote of the "biological mechanism's" built-in limitations. Though it is possible to synergize the accumulation of knowledge through symposia, it becomes increasingly more difficult for the individual or the collective to wrap its mind around any field of study, resulting in greater and greater specialization and a more and more unwieldy and unmanageable body of knowledge. Though it is possible to augment the accumulation of knowledge through artificial intelligence, there will come a time when factual information gleaned through artificial intelligence will be unintelligible to the human mind and so useless to it. To reach and break through the built-in limitations of the "biological mechanism," to think the Really Big Thoughts, it is necessary to access the Great Mind.  The Great Mind is accessed by way of the Spirit Level, through the vehicle of ExtraSensory Perception.
